Operations
- Operate under your own business name as a DBA (Doing Business As).
- Have a registered office location in your home or elsewhere.
- Join Packerland direct or an OSJ affiliated with Packerland.
- Brand and market your practice with your own style, look, and feel.
- Allow us to assist you with succession planning and continuing commissions.
Partners, Products, and Client Service
- Offer your clients what they need, we don’t have proprietary products.
- Hold your clients’ assets direct or in a brokerage account.
- Select from multiple wrap-free programs, including Envestnet.
- Use your preferred Insurance Marketing Organization (IMO) partner. If you need guidance, you can use one of our partners.
TECHNOLOGY
No need to pay for financial tools you don't need or use. Instead, select what will have the best impact on your business. No matter the industry, communication is king; therefore, we need consistency in some systems, however you get to decide where you spend your technology budget:
- Fill out applications by hand, Laser App, or fillable PDF.
- Submit paperwork by email, mail, or fax.
- Streamline client communication using the tools that work best for you. We suggest DocuSign and LaserApp, and we're happy to help get you up and running with these or other tools, IF you want them for your business.
- Decide what systems works best for you in terms of managing client assets, portfolio analysis, financial planning, and automated marketing communications.
